    Revit Structure 2018 Intermediate and Advanced

    Import CAD file

    Exercise 15-1
    1. Start Revit 2018

    2. Open the file Exercise 15-1.rvt

    3. Go to Level 1 plan view, and import the AutoCAD file called Ground Floor.dwg,
    using the following information:

    a. Colors = Black and White

    b. Layers = All

    c. Import Units = Auto-Detect

    d. Positioning = Center-to-Center

    e. In the current view only

    4. If needed move the four elevation symbols to the proper places

    5. Set the Graphics Override = Halftone for CAD Import

    6. Pin CAD Import

    7. Use the lines from the CAD import in Level 1 plan view to input gridlines setting
    the vertical gridlines to be A, B, …, and the horizontal gridlines to be 1,2,…

    8. Save and close the file
