Guidelines for presentation

General guidelines
• The presentation should be made in PowerPoint, in 16:9 Widescreen format.
• Presentation is recommended to be sent by E-mail to info@fragblast12.org before the
symposium
• Presentation can also be uploaded or updated at the conference “Speakers Corner” during
the conference.
• Presenters are kindly asked to make sure that their presentation is available latest:
o The day before the presentation, for papers presented in the morning session
o Before lunch, for papers presented in the afternoon session
• Presenters are also asked to provide a brief biography (100 words or less) with their presentation, or
preferably by email before the symposium. The biography will be used by the session chair to
introduce the presenter prior to their presentation.
Oral presentations
• The total time allotted for a paper is 15 minutes. Ideally, 12 minutes should be spent for
presenting the work and 3 minutes should be available for questions from the audiences.
The 15 minutes time frame will be strictly maintained in order for the audience to move
between session rooms.
• The aim of an oral presentation is to successfully express the central ideas of the paper, and
the presenters are kindly asked to prepare thoroughly.
• Presentations containing videos must be checked beforehand at the “Speakers Corner” for
appropriate compatibility.
