4.4.2020 COVID-19 Update Dr.

Gallo

1. A harsh dry cough and high fever are symptoms of coronavirus. Sneezing is
not a symptom of COVID-19. This time of year sneezing may be from pollen
allergy or sensitivity.
2. According to several of my working peers, the clinical tests for COVID-19 at
this time are less than adequate and there are many false positives.
3. Since it takes 5 to 7 days for symptoms to develop one may have the virus
and not know it. By the time symptoms develop there is already considerable
fibrosis in the lung. The best way to self-test for the virus is to take a deep
breath and hold it for 20 seconds first thing every morning and evening. If
you are infected 4 to 6 hours you cannot hold your breath for 20 seconds.
After 6 hours roughly 15 seconds to 10 seconds is considered positive. You
can test yourself after every possible exposure.
4. The symptoms of COVID-19 are a sore throat and five to six days later a high
fever. The feeling one is drowning develops from respiratory congestion and
pneumonia.
5. When COVID-19 gets into the body if it gets to lung symptoms develop and if
it is washed into the stomach it is “killed” by the acid. Therefore, it is helpful
to drink plenty of water.
6. COVID-19 is extremely temperature sensitive and heat “kills” the virus so
drink hot fluids and gargle often with warm salt water which disables all
viruses.
7. Regular hand washing with soap and warm water is important because
COVID-19 can be airborne for 10 feet and survive for 12 hours on metal. On
the hands it can only survive for 5 to 10 minutes.
