Email Marketing: Sending e-mails and newsletters about any product or service to
highly targeted audience to promote the business. It is a cost effective marketing
tool and the results are quantifiable and measurable.
Types:
1. Transaction E-mails: It is a confirmation email received after making an online
purchase which usually includes the name of the product ordered, cost, units,
mode of payment and delivery time.
2. Newsletters: They contain information other than promotional messages to
keep the customer updated and involved for the sole purpose of making long
term relationships with customer.
3. Promotion E-mails: Informing customers about sale discounts, new offers, or
any other promotional activity.
