I am writing to recommend Britney Sawyer for the position of teacher. I have known her for the
last year, when she began working as the 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Michiana Christian
Academy.

She has strong instructional skills incorporating a wide variety of teaching modalities into her
classroom curriculum. I was particularly impressed by her innovative approach to subject
material. She drew students in with her enthusiasm and unique experiential exercises.

She was also a positive influence on students in other classes. She is a team player frequently
offering to help and support other teachers and administrators. She takes instruction and
advice well and is growing rapidly in her abilities.
