    1. Knowledge of students’ backgrounds and performance is used to assist in developing
    activities and assessments
    To be honest, I did not know too much about student backgrounds and performance prior to
    teaching my unit. In my lesson, I attempted to follow what their teacher did in terms of note
    taking procedure. Nevertheless, I did not know who struggled with writing or reading and it
    showed in my lesson plan that I did not plan any accomodation. From here on out, I will ask the
    teacher to share how many students are on IEP and EIP and what planned accommodations
    are put in place to assist them. I would then work to develop well rounded activities that all
    students would reasonably be able to succeed in.
