HELPING IS A MUST!

We all know that Filipinos are known to be accomodating towards to their visitors and

neighborhood.Seeing a Grade 4 pupil helping an old woman to cross the street is such a once in a

blue moon scenario. It is amazing to us people to see or witness someone helps their

neighborhood whether it is small or big help.We always expect that older persons carry the

responsibility to insist helps towards old people.But the scenario or situation I just witnessed are

far from our expectations because those Fourth year boys did not care to help the old woman to

cross the street.They are just being ignorant and seems don’t have respect toward older persons

who cant cross the street on their own.

This scenario makes me realize that sometimes the persons we can’t expect to help others or

respect are the one who have a heart to help people who are not capable in doing things. The

pupil who helps the old woman should serve as an inspiration to everyone. As a 21 st century

learner we must not just learn and share knowledge to other people but also we must share the

essence of helping. 21st century learners and other Filipinos should not be callous in helping

other because helping brings happiness to our lives. We should take in to account that we should

help others without expecting something in return because its better to help others than to ask

help. Nowadays theres a lot of problems that Filipinos are facing, helping and cooperation are

one of the effective instrument to overcome those problems. We should serve as the dim of other

people who suffers.We should try to be different towards people who ignores to helps people

who really needs it.
