2 Organizational Commitment

According to[ CITATION Wri07 \l 1033 ]. Organizational commitment is the employees emotional

and psychological attachment towards their organization [ CITATION Som12 \l 1033 ] defines

“organizational commitment”” as it is a degree tO which an individual holds the principles of the

organization and try to follow those principles and values. Organizational commitment

influences the outcomes of the organization such as; employee job performance, employee

turnover and organizational behavior.

1.9.3 Organizational Culture

Organizational culture is the arrangement Of various traits that express an Organization and

differentiate it from other firms [ CITATION For64 \l 1033 ]. According to[ CITATION Hof80 \l 1033 ]

culture is the combination of thinking of different minds which separates the people from each

other.[ CITATION Sch90 \l 1033 ], says that the organizational culture is a set Of different

“behaviors and values” that will lead to success. According to the [ CITATION Kot92 \l 1033 ] ,

culture of firms and big organizations contains equally established set Of principles, rules,

policies and values

1.9.4 Employee Job Satisfaction

The word job satisfaction refers to the feelings and attitude that people have towards their job.

“Favorable and positive attitudes towards the job indicate job satisfaction. Unfavorable and

negative attitudes towards the job indicate job dissatisfaction”[ CITATION Arm06 \l 1033 ].

1.9.5 Employee Engagement

Many researchers define the definition of employee engagement according to [ CITATION Kev \l

1033 ] in employee commitment the employee is emotionally committed and devoted towards the
goals of the organization. As [ CITATION Rob \l 1033 ] says that employee commitment is the

amount of involvement in their work.
