PROCEDURE FOR CONDENSER PERFORMANCE TEST (ETR /06 )

A). Temperature Measurement Procedure

1.)Designated sampling point valve open in condenser CW inlet line and venting done.

2.) Calibrated thermocouple wire insert and reading taken on digital temperature meter .

3.) Same procedure repeated for CW outlet line and other pass.

B).Pressure Measurement Procedure

1.) Close isolating valve and remove C&I local pressure gauge in CW inlet line.

2.) Insert own calibrated pressure gauge and then open isolating valve .

3.) Note down the reading and again close the isolating valve.

4.) Place the local C&I pressure gauge and open the isolating valve .

5.) Same procedure repeated for CW outlet and other pass .
