SCENE ONE
INT. BEDROOM/KITCHEN. MORNING.

A beautiful young lady sits in front of the mirror and

applies makeup on her face. The dressing table has a nice
arrange featuring good ladies souvenirs, but we take note of
a happy romantic picture of herself and a handsome man. She
been carried in the picture. Close to this picture is a glass
of water. She stares at the picture emotionally realizing
that she had once been happily in love before with this man.

BUKKY
O my god Kunle where are you. How
can live without me for 7 years? I
hope you are doing well.

Bukky extends her arm to take the picture. As she picks it up

her hands mistakenly hits the glass of water which makes it
fall to the floor and breaks. As she panics also the picture
in her hands falls to floor and breaks. She SCREAMS
(cut)

An old woman cooking in the kitchen, hears bukky’s scream and

rushes to her room.
MAMA BUKKY
Ah n ah n ! W h a t i s it a g a i n m y
daughter! Have they began attacking
you again.
BUKKY
Abeg mama go joor do not carry you
ow n a n d c o m e t hi s m o r n i n g . I
mistakenly hit the glass of water
on my dressing table.

Mama looks to where both the picture and glass of water has
fallen. They are all broken. She looks shocked Bukky bends to
pick up the picture frame.

MAMA BUKKY
This is bad luck oh! When a picture
brea ks i t me ans bad luck my
daughter, is that not the picture
of foolish Kunle.

Mama bukky makes a disgusting face.

MAMA BUKKY
You young girls of nowadays will
never listen to your parents that's
why you peo ple are get ting into
trouble. It is even bad luck when
your glass of water just falls from
the table like that.

Bukky who has successfully gathered all the broken pieces

together looked up at her mother and frowned. She stands up
and says.
BUKKY
Look mama, I don't like the way you
are talking now, I just told that I
mistakenly hit the glass cup while
trying to get to the picture. So
please Mama just leave me alone

interview to attend at the embassy.

MAMA BUKKY

Bukky frowns more and shouts at her mama before she can
finish.
BUKKY
Mama! Please just leave me alone
now before i send you back to the
village. You want me now to go and
marry your pastor. Please go away!

Mama Bukky surrenders and goes away.

SCENE TWO
EXT. OUTDOOR/FRONT OF BUKKY’S GATE. MORNING.

Bukky comes out of her gate, she is looking classy and ready
for work. She answers her phone and gives directions.

BUKKY
Ok a y , y e s , j u s t k e e p d r i v i n g
st ra i gh t u nt i l y ou se e a l a dy
standing in front of a black gates.
Yes thank you.

There’s another car parked in front of the gate of the next

house and two suspicious men sit inside this car. Bukky
doesn't notice this and her cabs arrives on time. She quickly
gets in.
SUSPICIOUS MAN 2
(Speaks into phone)

confirmed, how shall we proceed?

He remains silence for sometime as if listening and he keeps

nodding his head. He keeps the phone and speaks to suspicious
man number 2.
SUSPICIOUS MAN 2
We a r e t o st a y o n t ra ck un t il
target receives package, then we
back to base to pick the Boss.

Suspicious man 1 nods his head in affirmation and starts the

car and drives away.

SCENE THREE
EXT. INT. OFFICE/CAR/ROAD. DAY.

Bukky arrives at the venue of the interview, she alights from

the car and approaches the gate, where she is stopped by the
security man. Meanwhile there is a sign which says INTERVIEW
HAS BEEN CANCELED.
SECURITY MAN
Madam good morning, if you are here
fo r t he in te r vi e w i t ha s b e en
canceled and the office is not even
opened today.

Bukky is very confused.

BUKKY
How comes, oh! What is all this,
why wasn’t I informed. And see how
I have wasted my time to come here
what am I going to do now.

SECURITY MAN
I am sorry madam.

The security man then turns back and heads for his post.
bukky Is so disappointed and begins to dial a taxi.
(cut)

Bukky is now in a taxi heading back home, she is on the phone

telling her mother that the interview got canceled, as she
speaks suddenly a car overtakes them and blocks them. And
suspicious man 2 quickly gets out of the car and approaches
bukky’s side. He opens the door and firmly ask bukky to get
down and follow him which she does because of fear.

BUKKY
(SPEAKS INTO PHONE)
Loo k m ama it ’s a nor mal th ing ,
interview g ets cancele d all the
time, am ju st saying t he should
have informed m...... SCREECH!!!!!

SUSPICOUS MAN 2
Madam please... my boss, your oga
will like to speak with you...

BUKKY
Oh! Okay.... Please I hope I didn't
do a wrong thing.

SUSPICOUS MAN 2
No madam, everything is fine.

Bukky follows suspicious man to car, he opens the back door

for her and she enters. Inside the car she meets a third man
whom she recognizes as kunle.

BUKKY
Kunle!!!

KUNLE
Hello bukky , it has been a long
time. How are you do.... SLAP

Bukky slaps kunle, suspicious man 2 turns in reaction, driver

breaks.
KUNLE
It’s okay boys, please carry on I
deserve it.

Pause.
KUNLE
As I was saying, how are you doing,
I have missed you a lot and I am
sorry that I could not contact over
a period of seven years. After I
have explained everything to you
will understand. Meanwhile I have
come to take you with me to Canada
as my wife because of what we had
and how kind you were to me. The
only thing I can tell you now is
that I work for the government as a
top security agent.

Bukky is very quiet and weakened. Kunle continues.

KUNLE
MY soul, yo u look very weak and
tired, do not worry everything is
alright now, I will look after you,
I cant wait to have that beautiful
daughter now. So shall I take you
home to rest.
BUKKY
Yes

Kunle brings bukky close to him in a side hug as we fade away
