I am writing to apply for the position of Senior Protection Assistant I saw posted on the
ACBAR website. I am interested in engaging with a company in its growth phase and
enhancing its participation in the markets. I am confident that my experience with different
programs and project development and knowledge of Afghanistan National policy
framework, as well as my strong independent initiative and analytical skills, make me an
ideal candidate for the position.

At Afghanistan Holding Group (AHG) Office in Balkh, I was responsible for

identifying, screening and conducting training for Small and Medium Enterprises and their
impact in economic development. This gave me first-hand exposure to the full business
cycle of the SMEs. Among my duties supporting SMEs for Balkh province, I also set up
new business relations, assisted in the negotiation of contracts, and supported the SMEs
at conferences and exhibitions.

Building on my experience with AHG, I involved in Monitoring and Evaluation of

Small and Medium Enterprises in Afghanistan Rural Enterprise Development (AREDP),
originating its projects, and developing an internal methodology for the implementation,
monitoring and verification, and calculation of their impact in economic growth and
development. AREDP was a World Bank funded program and its goal was to generate
employment and increase the income level of Rural SMEs.

After working with AREDP as M&E officer, I joined WEERDP as Regional Manager in the
North and worked for it till end of Dec 2019. In WEERDP I was responsible for
implementation of the whole program in north region. Beside managing the WEERDD in
the north region, I was working for Returnees Enterprise Development (RED) as a
provincial manager. This project is implementing under WEERDP.
