Mid--Year Academic Reflection

Seniors
You have finished your senior fall semester and are only a few months away from graduation!
Having had nearly four years of high school, take some time to reflect on your experience.

Thinking about your efforts and experiences in core classes since you were a freshman,​ ​what are
some of the ways you’ve evolved as a student? What has been your biggest challenge(s) in your
core classes? What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had academically?
Consider examples that you may remember long after high school.

This semester has been great! I’ve asked for help from my teachers more often and I’ve learned
more about myself. I have dedicated more time into my work, and turned things in at the right
time. I have 3 A’s and two C’s. Hoping to get those C’s up sometime soon. My biggest challenge
in my core classes would be working with others. I enjoy working independently. The most
rewarding thing would be spending all of my time with my friends. And hanging out with my
teachers. Academically speaking it would have to be getting better grades, and finally actually
understanding the work that I am doing.

Looking ahead, what do you need to do during your last semester to accomplish your goals?

I need to continue communicating to my teachers, and staying on task.
