Something I was taught as a young kid who played


sports was to be a constant high character person.
When I got into the profession I learned that your

administration when I am unsure of how to handle
certain situations. I make sure I adhere to all the legal
obligations of my students with 504s and IEPs. I
model appropriate behavior for my students by
speaking positively, never using inappropriate
language, and conversing with my colleagues in a
friendly manner. I emphasize to my students that my
classroom is a safe space and that bullying and/or
harassment is not tolerated.
