Dear Arjun san

Refer to voyage instruction Item 14-D, please kindly remind that, Owners never accept to
carry on-board
one (1) original B/L for cargo delivery at discharging port, because Owners are not involved
in the transactions of
Cargo Sale and Purchase on Letter of Credit (L/C) between shipper/cargo receivers
which might cause our Owners trouble if duly endorsed Bs/L Holder appears for the delivery
on the same cargo.

Consequently, Owners have only accepted cargo delivery with a method of receiving a LOI
for without production
of Original Bs/L in case the Bs/L would not reach in time before vessel’s arrival at
discharging port.

Recommend, Master should counter the above instructions and receive the Charterers’
confirmation.

Refer to the above, Plenalba san might know well the situation.

Best regards,
Matsuda

14. Bills of lading

A. Markings:

We require bs/l to be marked as follows:

- 'freight payable as per c/p' unless otherwise agreed as below

- 'all terms, clauses, conditions and warranties including the war risk, arbitration, choice
of law, time bar and time limitation clauses of the c/p dated are hereby incorporated into
this bill of lading'

B. 'Prepaid':

In case 'prepaid' wording is required master to instruct agents not to release such b/l's
until they receive approval from their principals.

C. 'Clean on board' Bill of Ladings:

Cargo for which no clean b/l can be signed must be refused and shippers to replace said cargo
with sound one.

D. 'Original on board':

In case one original b/l is carried on board the vessel all the set of B/L's is to be
endorsed as follows:
'One original b/l retained on board against which b/l delivery of the cargo shall properly be made on
instruction received from shippers/charterers/receivers'
