Is there a treatment? No, there is currently no specific treatment. The best thing you can do is stay hydrated,
rest, use Tylenol to reduce your fever.

How long will I be sick for? People usually get better in 1 to 2 weeks.

When can I go back out in public? You can return to public 7 days after symptoms onset and if you have gone
3 days without a fever.

If I’m staying home how do I get food, medications, etc.?

Have a friend or neighbor do the shopping, errands for you. Use a food delivery service.
Have someone else in the house go out.

How do I keep others that I am living with safe?

1. Designate specific rooms for those who are sick. This includes your pets, keep your pet
out of the designated sick room too. If possible, use separate bathrooms. If separate
bathrooms are not available, the bathroom should be disinfected after each use.

2. Wear a facemask if the person how is sick has to be in the same room as other people.
Wipe and disinfect surfaces often. Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or
cough. Wash your hands immediately after coughing, sneezing or touching your face.

3. Do not share personal items such as towels, dishes, phones and bedding.
If you can do not prepare food while you are sick. Have others prepare and bring you
food.
