To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great pleasure that I write to you in recommendation of Tiffany Green. For the past two
years, Ms. Green has been a proud parent and lead member of our school Parent Teacher
Organization (PTO) here are William Rainey Harper (WRH). Ms. Green has proven herself to be
responsible, dedicated, and personable member of our school community. Our school opened its
doors to the Old Brooklyn and Cleveland community in August of 2018 and Ms. Green was one
of the parents to take an active role early. This is an example of her tenacity and leadership
ability, along with her willingness to step up and be a positive example for others.

Over the past two year, Ms. Green has volunteered at WRH on numerous school events,
including events during the school day and the weekends. What is even more commendable is
Ms. Green’s willingness to not only volunteer for events at our school, but utilizing her
leadership skills to plan different activities for both scholars and families. An event held at our
school is our Cultural Night where different grade levels and families brought in dishes from
countries across the world. Wanting this event to have a lasting impression beyond that one
night, Ms. Green shared the idea of creating a Harper Cook Book were families could submit the
recipes from that event and took lead on this, putting the cook book together for the school.

Along with her service as a lead team member for our school PTO, Ms. Green served as Vice-
chairperson State Representative, for The Centers for Families and Children's policy council
from 2015-2017. In this position she was afforded the opportunity to serve as a parent advocate
for head start. Having always an involved parent, she took interest in coaching her daughter's
volleyball team. Ms. Green has been a head volleyball coach for Near West Recreation since
2015, every year receiving requests from returning families to coach their child.

Ms. Green’s volunteer experiences has granted her the opportunity to travel locally and
nationally to network with many parents and other advocates for education. It is her goal to work
as a school social worker in a public school program to promote the healthy well-being of
children in urban communities. It has been a pleasure to have Ms. Green as a parent and PTO
member. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further information.

Educationally Yours,
Ajayi Monell
