Visual Discourse Analysis Reflection

I really enjoyed doing the interviews for the project although the whole construction of
the project has been pretty stressful because life has been stressful recently. Anyways, I learned
how communication is an absolute necessity. A lack of communication is one of the top reasons
issues arise and why people have to take legal action. I reconnected with the reason why I chose
this as my major. Reoccurring themes that I noticed in both interviews that I did were that the
judicial system is broken and miscommunication is the number one reason that most cases arise.
I will definitely focus on this when it comes to my Major Issues Paper. The rhetorical choices I
made were intentional but sometimes weren’t. The whole format of the infographic was a pre
made format that I messed with a little to make my own. The artifact was really hard to create as
an image. I had to screenshot it on my computer and then crop it so I could make it into an image
for my artifact. I didn’t have a rhyme or reason to my placement of information. I just put it on
my infographic as it flowed out of me and I am pretty satisfied with how it has turned out.
