Clarion Ledger ebologna(@gannett.com Re: Public Records Request of April 2, 2020 Dear Mr. Bologna: ‘The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) is in receipt of your April 2, 2020 public records request for the following information: + The number of residents at nu coronavirus: + The name of every Mississippi nursing home/long-term care facility that has =~ outbreak of coronavirus. + The daily inventory of ventilators, as described by Dr. Thomas Dobbs at an April | press conference, ‘+ All demographic data on confirmed cases of coronavirus. + The number of coronavirus patients in ICU beds. + The number of coronavirus patients on ventilators. + ‘The number of tests performed by commercial labs 18 homes/long-term care facilites infected with As you are aware, MSDH is working around the clock to keep the citizens of Mississippi safe during this pandemic. ‘The Department is using its resources, including the information technology staff and the licensure and certification staff (which is responsible for licensing and inspecting long-term care facilities in ippi), to respond to the pandemic. As a result of the necessary work that must be done to combat COVID-19, we do not have the capacity or resources to respond to your request at this time. As Tam sure you can understand, the Department's staff are working diligently to respond to this crisis. Available information is made public on the MSDH website and via weekday press conferences.
