As you are aware, MSDH is working around the clock to keep the citizens of Mississippi safe during this
pandemic. ‘The Department is using its resources, including the information technology staff and the licensure
and certification staff (which is responsible for licensing and inspecting long-term care facilities in
ippi), to respond to the pandemic. As a result of the necessary work that must be done to combat
COVID-19, we do not have the capacity or resources to respond to your request at this time. As Tam sure you
can understand, the Department's staff are working diligently to respond to this crisis. Available information
is made public on the MSDH website and via weekday press conferences.
We will keep your requests on file and, when the State of Emergency is over and the MSDH is no longer
responding to the pandemic with such a high level of resources, the Department will respond to your request.
