Module 5 Assignment: Speechwriting and Public Speaking

Good Afternoon,

Thank you for joining us today. As you are all aware, there have been many

assumptions regarding the company’s location, current employees, and future

floating around the past three weeks. With the various suppositions surfacing, the

company executives and I have decided that it would be best to gather all involved

without company and address the situation. First, I am happy to announce that our

company has performed incredibly well this year, so we expect to see many

prosperous years ahead. Secondly, we have been proud to call Colorado our home

as natives of this beautiful state, and never plan on moving as long as the president

and executives remain the same. I have heard news that many believe we are

moving locations. Let me tell you that this is nothing but a rumor. Our office,

located in the Denver-metro area, is an affordable location providing us close

access with our business partners and employees. We understand the concerns

these rumors have raised, and we can see the personal affects it has brought our

company. We have observed a decrease in employee optimism as well as overall

lack of production. We are thankful to all employees and partnerships, as we look

forward to another successful, improved year.
