3 DIMENSIONAL SHAPES AND ARTWORK
A 3-Dimensional shape or artwork have height, width, and depth(thickness). Like the real objects, it does not look flat, it
is not flat.

Sculpture
Sculpture is a 3D artwork made of figures or designs. Materials used to create sculpture include; clay, wood,
paper,metal, and others.

Common Ways or Techniques to Create Sculpture

1. Assemblage- is to put together different parts to form a figure or design, like putting together blocks to form a
figure.
2. Molding-usually makes use of the hands to form figures or designs, like making figures out of clay.
3. Carving-it is removing parts of a block using sharp or pointed tools to form the shape or figure.
