    1. How many drops of water did you place on the coin before it spilled over? 23

    2. How many drops of detergent solution did you place on the coin before it spilled over? 20

    3. Which liquid had the greater surface tension? Explain your results. The regular water because it
    was able to hold more drops.

    4. Why should you run more than one trial? To make sure you have enough evidence, to gather up
    as much evidence as you can.

    5. What did you learn from this lab? That soapy water holds less drops than regular water, which I
    would have guessed that the soapy water would hold more.
