Today we will be interviewing one of my siblings, my sister and her name is Max.

Max is 33

years old and she is the mother of my adorable niece, we’ve been living together for almost 17

years. The reason I want to interview her is that recently she had been struggling with her

pregnancy and with the Covid-19, I want to know in her point of view how she thinks.

1. How do you feel about the situation?

Max: Right now I’m doing pretty fine, even I couldn’t really go outside but I’m glad that

my family is safe.

2. How was your daily life like before the quarantine, and how is it now?

Max: Things have been different as a mother and for staying at home for the quarantine.

Now I need to work harder and become more active. I woke up in the morning to do the

chores around the house, then I need to prepare milk and clothes, took her a shower, and

all baby stuff if she is awake. I also need to clean all the clothes, diapers, and bed to make

sure nothing will hurt my child. If any things runout I would need to go to the

supermarket, and I need to be quick or she will start crying. At night was even harder as

we need to feed her and make her go to bed, but it wasn’t really easy.

3. Is there any struggle during the quarantine?

Max: I think the struggle came with the baby as I have to make sure she was safe, back

when I was at the hospital I was really paranoid because the hospital that we went was a

public hospital that includes people that diagnose the disease. The most difficult thing

was traveling, I couldn’t risk anyone because if one of us got the disease there is a high

chance Mia(her daughter) would too.

4. How do you protect yourself from the disease?

Max: Now we are being more careful in whatever we bring into the house. We have

cleaning alcohol and mask for protection. Our family also take care of their health by

cooking for our own and take care of our hygiene.

5. What is the first thing you’ll do after the quarantine?

Max: I would like to travel, I love traveling and the outbreak is killing me already. I

would like to go to the beach right now.

6. What do you think will be different after the quarantine?

Max: I think things would be different, as now the way people work and contact change

due to the pandemic. I wish it will get better from now and stay safe everyone.

Summary:

In conclusion, the interview has given a brief answer to an opinion about the Covid-19 situation.

The person I chose to interview was my sister, she is 33 years old and her name is Max. She has

been facing a hard time as being pregnant during the Coronavirus outbreak. Her point of view on

the situation is that Covid-19 has changed her daily routines, hygiene, and also her family. She

has been struggling a lot during her pregnancy because she needs to stay safe and avoid contact

or going to public sites. This caused her to stay home most of the time and the hardest part was

during the time she was at the hospital. Staying at the hospital made her aware of getting

infections both to her and her child while coming back home is also isn’t easy either. She had to

protect herself by wearing protection, take care of hygiene around the house. This made her to

become more active and careful, as protection we had cleaning gels and spray everywhere

around the house including in the car. The quarantine made my sister miserable and she wanted
to travel as fast as the quarantine was done. Lastly, she also wishes that everyone is safe and

prepared for the changes after the quarantine.
