In view of the extension of the ECQ from April 15 to May 15, face-to-face classes most
probably will not be resuming in the foreseeable months. Moreover, National University is
NOT going to extend the adjusted academic calendar farther. Thus, we will finish the term
using Remote Asynchronous Learning (RAL). The following guidelines are hereby issued:

Schedules
• RAL Sessions/delivery of course packs should be completed by May 30, 2020 to give
ample time for students to complete their requirements

• Students are given until June 13, 2020 (End of Term) to submit all course requirements.

• The deadline for grade submission remains at June 25, 2020

Grading
• If a teacher feels that s/he has enough to assess the outputs of the student, s/he may give
the student a numeric grade.

• If a teacher feels that the student has not done enough to deserve a numeric grade OR
if the student was not able to extensively participate in RAL due to ECQ, the student
will be given an “In Progress” grade, not a failure grade.

• The student has one school year (until end of SY 2020-2021) to complete the IP grade.
The teacher can give a numeric grade to the student when s/he deems the student has
completed the minimum requirement.

Additional guidelines on matters not covered by the above will be issued through your
respective College Deans.
