2. Change the switch of SW2-6, SW2-7 and SW2-8 by following the Table 3-2, and check that
NTSC/PAL is displayed. If there is any trouble, “white” and “black” images will change
approximately every second on the monitor. Or, the relay will keep funtioning.
Normally, NTSC/PAL is displayed in three phases, so set the intermediate phase switch to SW2-6,
SW2-7 and SW2-8. (For example: Select 135° if 90°, 135° and 180° are available)
2. Change the switch of SW2-6, SW2-7 and SW2-8 by following the Table 3-2, and measure the voltage
of coaxial connector of DVI-SUB (Fig. 3-1) with an oscilloscope or tester.

Low and high voltage will change approximately every second as the following figure. The
difference of both voltages is approximately 0.7V. Or, the relay will keep functioning and voltage is
not stable.

This tool assists service personnel or technical staff to provide DICOM printer definition
file for DAR-9500f.
Users of this tool are required to refer to DICOM Conformance statement or adequate
documents of the target printer, and are supposed to know available printer capability
of layout, film type and film size etc.
Also this tool requires already existing printer definition files(.pro) as initial definition
information.
NOTE
There is a definition file of the printer that has connected results in
C:\Shimadzu\ConfigFiles\Printer on REF PC. (There might not be a definition file
depending on the version of the system.)
When a file of the printer that will try to be connected has already existed in the
above-mentioned folder at the installation site, copy it into C:\Program

=Installation of FPD Cooling System (HEC002-A5B)=
9.3 Installation
1. Installation environment
It is necessary to follow the installation environment below to keep the temperature of FPD at a
prescribed FPD to prevent dew condensation.
Examination room: Temperature from 10 to 35 degrees, humidity from 15 to 75%
Equipment room: Temperature from 10 to 35 degrees, humidity from 15 to 75%
Do not install the system where the temperature and humidity is higher and with corrosive substances.
An air Cooling System is installed in this device. Let the air in from the left side and out from the right
side. For sufficient ventilation, more than 20 cm of space is required for both side of the system, or the
cooling capacity may degrading and it may damage the compressor in some cases.
Avoid installation of this equipment in dusty area and make a schedule for periodic cleanup. (Refer to
section “9.5 Maintenance for schedule)
2. Connection of hose
Two 35m hoses are equipped. Each hose has a thick part and a thin part. Thick hose should be
connected with the Cooling System and thin hose should be connected with FPD. It is recommended
to cut extra part of hose and make it short as possible to increase the cooling capacity. Please be
careful not to break the hose. The minimum bend radius for a thick hose is 95mm and thin hose is
60mm.
This Cooling System has a mechanism that it keeps the preset temperature even if the ambient
temperature falls below the setting temperature. So, there is no problem when the equipment room
temperature can be kept in the above-mentioned value. However, if there is a possibility of an
equipment room temperature becomes below that, it becomes easier to keep the preset temperature by
wrapping the heat insulator around hoses in the equipment room.
3. Wiring
Please refer to section “9.6”. Connect the power supply code with the outlet of the following voltages
in the ACQ3/ACQ3L Cabinet.
50/60Hz: 100V ±10%
For connection of the signal cable from the flow switch, refer to section “9.6 Connecting chart”.

6. Trial operation
Keep operating the system for 10-30 minutes to confirm whether an actual measurement value of
water temperature becomes 30 degrees (the time which reaches to 30 degrees depends on the starting
temperature of operation). Please check that there is no solution leakage around FPD, hose joint, and
back of the Cooling System after it starts operating. Also, confirm that water temperature display
becomes 30 degrees. Water temperature had been set to 30 degrees at the factory setting.
M517-E610 9-6
=Installation of FPD Cooling System (HEC002-A5B)=
NOTE
1. Confirm that the temperature display in front of the Cooling System should be 30±1 degrees.
Customer has to contact with our service department when it is not so.
2. Confirm that antifreeze solution is filled enough in the tank in the Cooling System. Please replenish
the specified distilled water about once a month. (Part Name: DISTILLED WATER,20L
P/N:017-40513-05). There is the low and high marker for guiding the distilled water in the tank.
The appropriate solution level is the level between those two markers. You cannot operate the
Cooling System if level is below the low marker.
3. The temperature and humidity of the examination room and the equipment room must be in the
standard value of the installation environment condition. Adjust the set temperature of
air-conditioning because condensation might occur if it is not so.

Make sure to complete the collimator and the virtual collimation adjustment because AK and AKR
are calculated from the data of collimator shutter aperture. When the collimator is readjusted, it is
necessary to readjust in this section.
11.6.1 Outline
The dose rate at the reference location, i.e. 15cm from the isocenter toward the X-ray source
along the beam axis, is displayed on the LCD during X-ray irradiation. The dose rate is
acquired by the DAR-9500f dosimeter.
The cumulative dose at the reference point is always displayed on the LCD that is also
acquired by the DAR-9500f dosimeter.
Measure in the modes of 15pps/H fluoroscopy, because these are same tendency in all
modes.
