ISSUE 1
MAY 2005

1) Mount the transducer in the plane of operation required (clockwise or anti-clockwise).

2) Press and hold down the key down and turn the power switch ‘ON’ which is located
on the back of the display housing. Wait until the ‘TRANSDUCER SERIAL # ?????’ has
finished being displayed, then release the button and the following screen will be shown.

3) Exercise the transducer to required standard or method.

Remove load and press the button.

4) Load the transducer to ‘FULL SCALE’ and allow to stabilise, then press the ‘CALIBRATE’
button. The reading will be updated to the Pro-Test series 2 full scale capacity.

TIP: Calibration not accepted.


If ‘CALIBRATE’ causes a bleep, then the calibration is NOT accepted. This is
because the transducer output in m V/V is outside of the allowable range.

5) Remove the load and take readings to the required standard or method.

6) Repeat from steps 3 to 5 if calibration in the opposite direction is required.

TIP: Direction of calibration.


If just recalibrated clockwise, then the anticlockwise calibration figure will be deleted.
If just recalibrated anticlockwise, then the clockwise calibration figure will be deleted.
If both clockwise & anticlockwise calibration figures are required, these MUST both
be completed by pressing ‘CALIBRATE’ before pressing ‘OK’.

7) Press ‘OK’ if no further adjustments are to be made. This will take you into the ‘TRACK’ mode
and calibration adjustment is now complete.

NOTE: - To exit without making any changes, press ‘OK’ when the calibrate screen is shown.
