Comments: Maitha provided practice clocks that she gave uploaded in the files so
that students could familiarize themselves with the clock the weekend before she
presented the lesson. This enthusiasm was mirrored by the students the day the
lesson was presented. Students were eager to show Maitha their completed
clocks and what prior knowledge they had about time.

Comments: Maitha provided me with content and videos days before the lesson to
see what would be best for the student’s level of comprehension.

Managing Learning F D C B A
Comments: Maitha incorporated various strategies throughout the lesson that
provided an effective learning environment. Acknowledging students who were
participating and who were not participating encouraged students to stay focused
during the lesson. Maitha showed a good awareness of the climate of the class by
addressing students who were not following rules. For those students who
decided to blurt out answers, Maitha paused the lesson to praise the students
who were doing as instructed in addition to reiterating the rules of distance
learning.

Comments: She continued to praise the students throughout the lesson which
increased the engagement of many of the students.
Assessment F D C B A
Comments: The overall lesson was good but Maitha was not able to assess the
students learning. This was mainly due to the allotted time structure of the class.

Comments: Maitha continues to show a willingness to improve by enquiring how
the lesson went and elaborating on ideas to possibly improve her pedagogy.
