ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED WHILE LOADING UP THE UNIT

Set the Target Load to 180 MW
LOAD RATIO 3 MW/Min
LOAD INCREASED TO 30% TMCR
WARM UP TIME 3 HOURS
When load increases to 15%, check that LP casing water injection shuts down automatically
Drain valve of HP Heaters are closed
When load is more than 15%, put the LP Heater in service
At 20% Load, Check that the drain valves of MS pipe and RH steam pipe of the turbine should
close automatically.
At 20% Load, Put HP Heater into operation at steam side.
When HP Heater is in normal operation, close drain valve on steam extraction pipe.
Check that rear casing water injection regulating valve of LP Casing Closes.
When the pressure of Steam Extraction 4 exceeds 0.2MPa, steam supply of deaerator
switches to the supply by the Extraction 4
Interlock device closes the regulation valve from auxiliary steam header to deaerator
At 20% Load, Start the first TDBFP to the feed water system
Increase the load to 30% and warm up the machine for 15 minutes.
At 30% Load, the Boiler will switch from Wet mode to Dry Mode
After warm up the load is increased to 40% and the second TDBFP shall impulse start.
When the load is increased to 45%, the unit starts to operate in sliding pressure mode.
Increase the load to 50% of rated value and warm up the unit for 15 minutes.
When the load is increased to 60% of rated value, connect the second TDBFP to feed water
system, turn off the MDBFP and put it into hot standby.
When the load reaches 90% of rated value, the unit switches to constant pressure operation
mode from sliding pressure mode. MS & RH pressure and temp., shall reach the rated value.
Gradually increase the load of turbine to full load with the gradual increase of burning
capacity of boiler.
When warming up procedure is completed, reduce the load to 5% rated load to trip the switch
and parallel off for relevant tests.
Carry out steam valve tightness test.
Carry out machinery over speed test and back up over speed protection test.

TURBINE ROLLING THROUGH DCS

Go to DEH Unit Overview Screen (deh01).
Go to Control Mode and set Operator Auto - "OA" in service.
Go to Bypass Mode and set it to "ON" for IP Rolling.
In Valve Mode select "Single Valve" mode.
Then go on TM PANEL and "LATCH" the turbine. Now the RSV shall open in auto.
In Limiter Valve position give - "110". Now GV will open fully.
In CONTROL SETPOINT Window, give the Target Speed and Rate of Acceleration.
Then press Enter Key on keyboard and then click on "Enter" and then click on "GO".
For TV to GV Transfer, at 2950 RPM go to "Valve Mode" and select "TV-GV Transfer".
