ELECTRIC Unprotected diesel engines packages, working in potentially flammable atmospheres, can be an explosive mix that places workers and businesses at serious risk and could result in severe damage to the environment. NEXUS DNL Diesel Engine Packages is designed, tested and packaged to meet international standard of ATEX 2014/34/EU, IECEX and DNV 2.7-1. Our complete containerised package is certified by 3" party Bureau Veritas. NEXUS DNL flame protected engines operate below 200°C. This lower operating temperature, combined with additional shut down features, means the equipment can be used in hazardous area Zone 2 / Class 1, Div. 2, Temperature class T3 where there is a strong potential explosion hazard. NEXUS DNL diesel engine packages is ideal for operation such as well test, gas flaring, and other maintenance jobs onboard rigs/vessel. RADIATOR SUITABLE FOR SALINE ENVIRONMENT The solder-dipped radiator core is sized to meet engine and exhaust gas cooling requirement FLAME ARESSTOR AND SHUT DOWN VALVE Inlet shutdown valve provides automatic shutdown on overspeed a Diese Engine inside DNV 271 Container EXHAUST SPARK ARRESTOR / SILENCER Provides exhaust gas sound attenuation below 8548 and trap the spark RADIATOR FAN WITH GUARD / ANTI -STATIC BELT ‘Axial pusher type of fan provide adequate cooling for the radiator fins. Fan guard according to 98/37/EEC. Static discharge can pose a hazard on belt drives that operate in potentially explosive environments. Radiator belts meets RMA static conductivity requirements ELAME PROOF PANEL Exd, IP66, Alloy Aluminium panel to house engine controllers. Controller provide automatic engine shutdown on Lube Oil Pressure Low, Coolant Temperature High, Exhaust Temperature High and Overspeed, INCREASED SAFETY BATTERY ENCLOSURE Maintenance free lead acid battery is housed in Exe battery enclosure. Batteries provide power for the electric starter and panel. Using flame proof battery isolator batteries can be isolated during maintenance. Engine driven flame proof DC alternator will charge the batteries. ENGINE PACKAGE BASE FRAME Base frame with drip pans provide spillage free of oil. Diesel Fuel tank embedded with the base frame sized for 12hours of 100% load operation. ENGINE PACKAGE INSTRUMENT Flame proof type of lube oil pressure switch, coolant temperature switch, exhaust temperature switch and speed sensor.
