This research will seek to answer 8 questions about the impacts of Facebook usage on student educational performance. Specifically, it will examine the benefits and impacts of Facebook usage, how Facebook contributes to or improves performance, the factors influencing student Facebook use, how often and for what purposes students use Facebook, the demographics of frequent Facebook users, and how much time students spend on Facebook and what activities they engage in on the site.
