Coronavirus disease is an infectious disease caused by newly
discovered coronavirus. The Philippines now has 8,772 confirmed
cases of COVID-19. Today we are facing a challenge because of this COVID-19. President Rodrigo Duterte has placed the Philippines under a state of calamity due to the coronavirus disease or COVID-19 pandemic. Filipinos are not ready with this, most especially to those people who doesn’t have permanent jobs or those Filipinos under “no work no pay”. I just read some stories about COVID-19 and it’s really sad because they do not have enough money and foods since President Rodrigo Duterte declared the enhance community quarantine to alleviate the cases of COVID19. If I have only powers or ability to stop this COVID-19 I would really help. That’s why I always pray to God. I will never forget to talk and remind him how thankful I am because we are safe and still have foods to eat. Of course I also pray for those people who are struggling to face this challenge. I know that God is always with us and GOD will never leave us. For those people who work 24/7 just to make us safe. To the doctors, nurses, healthcare providers, police and other people who really make an effort just to help, who are doing their best despite the hurdles. I’m so grateful that we face this challenge as one. I know your work are really hard, you can’t stay with your families because of your work. Just like my sisters who work hard just to ensure that people are safe in this COVID-19. Honestly, I cry about this because every summer we always visit my sisters but since there is a pandemic Covid-19 we can’t visit them and I’m not used to it. So we should always follow the rules to stay home. Our healthcare workers are risking their own safety for ours. As COVID-19 continues to impact communities around the world, help stop the spread stay home and save lives. With the grace of God, we all fight this together.
