This research aims to understand perceptions of sexism in different media by examining how issues are viewed by males, females, and LGBTQ+ communities, how media portrays sexism, and how sexism is viewed currently. The study will survey respondents from different gender and age groups about their views of sexism in five forms of media: music, film, video games, advertisements, and commercials. Focus interviews will also gather perspectives from professionals to obtain reliable information on the topic within the limited time available.

This research aims to find out the perception of sexism portrayed in
different forms of media.
We specifically want to know about
1. How issues on sexism is perceived by both male and female.
But not just that, as we all know, today’s generation is more diverse than before so we included the third sexes or the LGBTQ+ Community.
2. Next is, how media is used as a means to portray sexism?
3. And lastly, how is sexism viewed in the present situation?
Scope and Limitations
In this research, the respondents would be coming from different gender
and age groups within our society.
We only picked 5 forms of media specifically music, film, video games,
advertisements, and commercials. It would be difficult to include other forms of media as we only have short amount of time. We also conducted interview with professionals so that we can obtain legit and reliable information regarding the issue.
We used focus interview as a method of gathering the data from the
respondents to have a single, straight-forward standpoint regarding the issue.
