This week we will be revising week 6 lesson. In the week 6 we learned about collecting information.

Strategies for collecting information

4. Outlining
5. Flowchart
6. Double entry notes
7. Journalistic question

This week you will write an essay according to the directions. Use 2-3 of the strategies for collecting
information and write them.

TOPIC: Mongolian schools…………………………….

 Introduction paragraph: Give background information about your topic and state the main idea
of your topic in the last sentence.
 Main paragraph: 1st idea supporting the main idea (last sentence of the introduction paragraph)
o (Topic sentence + supporting sentences)
 Main paragraph: 2nd idea supporting the main idea (last sentence of the introduction paragraph)
o (Topic sentence + supporting sentences)
 Main paragraph: 3rd idea supporting the main idea (last sentence of the introduction paragraph)
o (Topic sentence + supporting sentences)
 Conclusion paragraph: List all three ideas of the main paragraphs in different words. That means
3 topic sentences in different words.
