Dear Madam,

Greetings!

This pertains to the recent directives from the Provincial Director to strictly enforce local
ordinances against any person who violates the anti-drunkards and half naked
campaign of the government to maintain peace and order in every barangay and to
bring about an atmosphere of decency to uphold higher morals and standards among
the residents of the Municipality of Aliaga.

However, this municipality has no ordinance neither created nor passed to implement
the same thus prevention of peace and upholding of decency by the police force,
despite of endeavor, could hardly be attained.

In this regard, we are requesting your benevolent heart as the Presiding Officer of the
Sangguniang Bayan to create and hopefully pass ordinances against the above-
mention predicaments. In that manner, the police force will be more effective in
implementing the laws against the violators. Thank you very much and looking forward
for your positive response in this matter. We hope to reciprocate your generosity thru
better service to the people.

Attached herewith are the copies of the drafted ordinances pertaining to the prohibition
on drinking session in public places and showing off in the street half naked, for your
reference.
