Overall Concept of Show
The overall concept for the theme Flower Power is to
show a bit of diversity in the show choir community.
Most girls groups center their themes around women
empowerment, (which I totally love!) but I think we
should steer away from that theme. I’ve never seen
any themes like this before and I feel like it would
bring something new to the table. (This theme is for
an all girls group)
And now… The Music!
Opener: “She’s a Wildflower”-
Lauren Alaina
I chose this song as the Opener, because
it’s a fun and it has that pop feel to it.
This would be a great opener,because we
can put a lot of dynamics in this song
and some really pretty and feminine dance
moves, to make us look hardcore, but also
ladylike.

Character Piece 1: Blue Rose-

I chose this song because I think it will
follow well with the Opener. I think there’s
some opportunity for some solos in this
song, and with all of the talent we have,
we can totally make that happen. My idea
would be for a transition to happen during
this song where half of the girls leave and
change into a different contrasting
costume for the ballad.

Ballad: “Mama liked the Roses”-
Elvis Presley

I chose this song as the ballad, because I

love the way it flows, and I feel like it
would flow great with our show. Not only
does it have one of the most beautiful
flowers in its name, but it has a beautiful
message as well.. With this being the song
before the costume change, we would have
the trio, (mentioned in next slide) leave
during a transition to get changed

Character Piece 2: Plastic Rose-
Maroon 5
I chose this as character piece 2, because
it’s fun, upbeat, and modern, and I think
we will be able to connect with the
audience with this one.. My idea would be
for the first Verse and Chorus to be a
trio, and then have the rest of the girls
come on after the costume change.

Closer: Daisy- Zedd
I think this would be such a great addition
to our show. It’s such a fun and girly song
and I think we can do a lot with this. It’s
also a modern song, which would follow well
with Character Piece 2. It’s a fun and
upbeat closer that will leave the audience
and judges with a lasting impression of
who Bella Bravada is!

Backdrops/Sets
Essentially, my idea for the backdrops would be a Large
Projector Screen with a this background for the opener
and character piece 1. (Shown in next slide). And then for
the Ballad have an interactive Rose Gif. (Shown in next
slides) For Character Piece 2 I would like 2 plastic Roses,
to help bring out the song.. (Also shown in next slide) And
then for the Closer, I would like a simple Daisy as the
background. (We also have the option of painting these as
well. Except for the Rose GIF)

Props!
For the Opener, I think we should have simple bouquets of
flowers. For Character Piece 2, my idea would be to have
us all with a single Rose, and then switch to a single
Daisy for the closer. I think we should keep it cute and
simple.

Last but not least….. Costumes, Hair, and Makeup!!

Opener,Character Piece 1, and Ballad Costumes.
I chose these costumes for the beginning of the Show because I feel like it’s
classy and elegant, yet sassy and cute. My idea would be to incorporate
another costume change this year! So essentially what would happen is, we
would start the show in the pink and yellow dresses (shown in next slide).
Then we would go into character piece one, and halfway through, we would
have all of the yellow dresses transition off and change into the red dress
(also shown in next slide)for the ballad. And the pinks would stay in pink
until the character piece 2 costume change. I think this will show some cool
contrasting colors with this change.
Character Piece 2 and Closer
For the closer I would like Rose Gold and Turquoise dresses. I think this would
give off a really nice contrast as well as some cute and bright colors..These
would be the dresses that come on for the rest of the show.. The trio for
character piece 2 would transition of during the ballad, and change into
these for the rest of the show.
Hair
I think for hair we should do a simple half up half down, or a high ponytail.
This would give us some leverage with different hair types and textures! It’s
also a cut and simple style that you can wear everyday. But we could totally
Show Choir it up with some teaze and curls :)
Makeup
I think we should go for a Rose Gold eye look with lots and lots of glitter. I
think this would go well with all of the dress colors, and It will help the judges
see our faces better, which we had problems with this year. And obviously
basic base makeup:Foundation, Highlighter, Blush etc. Here is some inspiration! :)
Why this Show?!
I think this would be a good show for Bella next year because I feel like
flowers show purity and femininity. There’s so many cool things we could do
with this show as far as dynamics, dance moves, and so on and forth. This
show would leave the crowd with a nice and pure feeling after the
performance. It’s also way different than our show this year, as far as theme
and costume wise. We do not have to do everything listed in this presentation
as well. We can play around with different things! I hope you consider “Flower
Power’ next year for Bellas show!
