Beijing, Aug. 16 -- COFCO Biochemical Energy Gongzhuling Co Ltd has filed a patent application for technology and
device for improving dehydration result of corn protein milk. This invention was developed by Tong Yi, Wang Yu,
Zhao Yongwu, Meng Xiangbao, Piao Youxiu, Liu Baoquan, Yan Guangbiao, Li Chunguang, Wang Yunpeng and Wang
Jie.
The patent application number is CN20121504724 20121203. The patent publication number is CN102964455 (A).
International Patent Classification codes are C08B30/10 and F28D9/00.
According to the abstract released by the State Intellectual Property Office of China: "The invention provides a
technology and a device for improving the dehydration result of corn protein milk. After heat exchange of protein
milk and starch refining washing water, the temperature of the corn protein milk is lowered to 27-34 DEGC from 45-
52 DEG C of the original technology, the cake moisture of the protein milk in a vacuum drum filter is lowered to
58%-62% from the original 65%-70%, and the steam for drying per ton of the protein powder is saved by 20% in
comparison with that of the original technology. The regeneration period of a filter cloth is prolonged, and the
utilization rate of equipment is improved. The service time of the filter cloth is prolonged to 10 months from 6
months of the original technology, and 70% of the cost of the filter cloth of the vacuum drum filter is saved. By
heat exchange of the protein milk and the starch refining washing water, the temperature of the starch refining
washing water is raised to 40 DEG C from 12 DEG C, after the washing water enters into a heat exchanger, the
usage of the steam for raising the temperature of the washing water is reduced by 80% in comparison with the
original technology. The color of the dried protein powder is golden yellow lighter than that of the protein powder
produced by the original technology, which illustrates that the nutriments in the protein powder are protected well."
