previous lessons taught to them.

Lesson Objective:
After the lesson, students will be able to communicate effectively to make plans with their friends

Lesson Content:
 Conjugation of the verb “ir”. The verb “ir” means “to go”
Yo voy

 Recreational activities Vocabulary in Spanish: nadando, acampar, pescar, juego de sofbol,
bailando
 Construct sentences using: ir (present tense) +a+ infinitive
Suggested Activities/Procedures:
Introductory Activities (_5 min___ mins.):
 Students engage in a game of “Charades” to help in identifying recreational
activities.

Developmental Activities/Procedures (_20__ mins.):


The teacher will present the conjugation of the verb “ir” to the students using the
video “Conjugating the Irregular Spanish Verb Ir (to Go)”.
 After, the students will be given examples of how to say they are going
somewhere using ir (present tense) +a+ infinitive to describe future plans
Example: Voy + a+ acampar, John y yo vamos a pescar etc.
 Students will then do a simple yes/no activity where they will be required to
answer if the correct conjugation was used in the sentence provided.
Culmination & Closure (_5_ mins.):
 Students will be instructed to draw a picture illustrating them going somewhere
with their friends, person of interest or alone. After which they will write a
sentence based on that same picture using ir (present tense) +a+ infinitive.
