Again reiterating his earlier comments that the "stay at home" message has not changed, the transport secretary again previews the statement we are expecting from Prime Minister Boris Johnson tomorrow night.
He closes the news conference by saying the government would
be proceeding with "extreme caution" moving forward and described social distancing as "key" to defeating the virus.

Government 'very concerned' about impact of virus on minorities
The panel is asked about what practical steps the government has undertaken to protect south Asian workers and their families, with evidence suggesting they are disproportionately impacted by the virus.
In response Shapps says the government is "very concerned"
about deaths amongst minority groups and has asked Public Health England to carry out a rapid study to find out why this is happening - with results due at the end of May.
Van-Tam says the government is determined to get to the bottom
of the issue "with real clarity" but he does not want to offer "quick fixes" as the issue is complex with a number of possible factors contributing.
