BORACAY

Introduction:

One of the nations major tourist destinations. Boracay is a typical Paradise off the province of Aklan in
the Philippines, apart from its white sand beaches,boracay is also famous for being one of the world's
top destinations for relaxation.

Time Context:

According to department of Environment and Natural Resources, Boracay is "Moving towards alarming
levels in terms of carrying capacity and solid waste management".And to rehabilitate and resolve the
environmental issues surrounding Boracay.

Own View:

For me, I agree for the closure and rehabilitation of Boracay for the sake of residents and employees of
its business establishments for it to operate legally and to be more organized, For boracay to be more
attractive for the tourists.

Advantages:

 Boracay will be more attractive than before

 Business establishments can operate legally

Disadvantages:

 Closure of Business establishments in boracay

 Losing Tourist

Swot Analysis:

S- Tourist Attraction

W- The sewerage system,which had become obsolete and insufficient

O- Can be used to promote tourism in the Philippines

T- Economic Slowdown

Recommendation/Conclusion:

I therefore conclude that there are things that we learned from the closure and renovation of
Boracay.Tourist and residents of boracay should know their limitations, they should be responsible of
their own trash.We should not abused our Nature.
