Carriage-mounted web guide
EM 260/410/510 control (movable) BG 10

Description

The "carriage-mounted web guide control"

enables exact alignment of an additional
web (e.g. laminate) to be achieved before
the next processing station (e.g.
laminating, printing etc.).

The web guide control (made by Erhardt +

Leimer) is mounted on a carriage, enabling
this unit to be positioned as required to
suit the production requirements.

The web guide control can be provided

with three different types of scanning:

• Web edge scanning with infrared

sensing device for controlling to the
web edge; suitable also for transparent
print materials
• Web edge scanning with ultrasonic
sensing device for controlling to the
web edge for clear, transparent print
materials
• Line scanning/print edge scanning
combined for controlling to a printed line
or the edge of a printed area.
