Evaluation Approach
- are conceptually distinct ways of thinking about,
designing and conducting evaluation efforts.

Approaches for Confucting Evaluation


Formative Evaluation - monitor the progress of students
during the period of instruction.
Summative Evaluation - is defined as the design of
evaluation studies and the collection of data to verify the
effectiveness of instructional materials with target
learners.
Internal Evaluation - evaluators is the same person as
teacher. Direct involvement in teaching-learning proces ,
setting of question paper by class teacher and evaluation
by teacher.
External Evaluation - exams are conducted by someone
other than the person giving instructions to students. The
teacher who teaches is not involved in the process of
evaluation.
