This is a letter of recommendation for Jackson Pletcher. I have known Jackson for two years
but he had been a student in my Spanish class for only one of those years. In the time I have
known Jackson, he has been a fine example of a young man with strong academic potential as
well as a valuable member of the school community.

Jackson is a very motivated young man. He maintains a high G.P.A of 3.6. He is a hard
worker. Due to his strong work ethic, he has been able to take advantage of the Dual Enrollment
program that we have with Penn State University. He demonstrates success academically while
maintaining a strong dedication to his activities.

Jackson has been involved in many things throughout his high school career. He has served as
a member of the Student Council. He has been a very successful member of both the football
and the track team, earning letters for each. He has even committed to play football for Thiel
this fall. Therefore, football is a very important part of Jackson’s life. He earned the honor of
becoming a member of the All Academic Gold Team. He has served as a candidate for Mr.
DuBois, which is a school-sponsored fundraising event for the Make-A-Wish organization. He
has also served as a volunteer for the Special Olympics.

I am certain that Jackson Pletcher has a very bright future. I would recommend him, without
reservation, for any educational or employment opportunity.
