IS 75 FEET HIGH AND 180 FEET LONG WITH A CAPACITY OF 10,000 PEOPLE.
• A WALL RISES ON THE FOURTH SIDE TO
PROVIDE MIHRAB • THE MOSQUE IS AN ARCHED GALLERY WITH SMALL DOME AND A SPIRE . • MECCA MASJID IS BUILT IN GRANITE AND THE BRICKS FOR CONSTRUCTION • THE COLUMNS OF THE MAKKAH MASJID ARE OCTAGONAL IN SHAPE AND GIVE WAY TO ARCHED BALCONIES AT THE SAME LEVEL AS THE ROOF OF THE MOSQUE ITSELF. • THE COLUMNS THEMSELVES RISE MUCH HIGHER AND END IN THE SHAPE OF A SPIRED DOME. INSIDE THE DOME LIES FIVE PATHWAYS TO THE TOMBS OF THE ASAF JAHI DYNASTY.
