Online Learning Vs. Face-to-Face Learning

Teachers fear the students could cheat or that technology will soon replace the teachers.

This is not the case though because with all these technological advances teachers can check for

cheaters, easier to help and teach students online and these is less anxiety in the classroom.

I. Fear of cheating with online learning

a. Software that check for cheating

i. Students have to download software and it will check for cheating

ii. Turnitin.com

II. Technology in classroom and transitioning to online learning

a. Using computers and iPads

i. The use of these items in the classroom has made transition to online

learning easier, especially during this pandemic

III. Less anxiety in the classroom setting

a. Students who have social anxiety

i. Could improve the student’s ability to answer questions

ii. Avoid distractions in the classroom

Students could have less anxiety about their classroom setting, teachers could help their

students and parents more at home when they need it and there is plenty of software that could

help teachers from keeping the students from cheating.
