HOLIDAY FUN ACTIVITY

GRADE 6 SESSION-2020-21
Summer vacation is a time full of fun and frolic, going for picnics, playing for long hours, exploring new
places and much more. Am sure you will miss these, we can still do a lot more to make our vacation cum
more interesting and meaningful.
We have planned some interesting activities for you, so get ready to enjoy your summer break.
1. Weave the situation (the pandemic) into a fictional story where you were free to battle it anyway
you like. You never know you may come up with ideas which can really make a difference. Your
story should have a plot, characters, dialogues, creative solutions and a moral.
OR

Write a short poem reflecting togetherness, how as a family you enjoy togetherness in doing big and
small acts of life. You may or may not include in particular how togetherness has been enhanced during
the lockdown period.

2. Memorabilia PPT
Create a PowerPoint presentation on the best five moments of your summer break. Click pictures
and caption them with new vocabulary. Alternatively make a scrap book of the memories
collected and paste some pictures if you could print.
Or
Create a beautiful poster depicting Indian habits or norms that the world picked up during
Coronavirus pandemic or otherwise.
3. Don't forget the write the informal letter and underline all the adjectives in it, as discussed in the
last class.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
● Use pictures (not more than two for each of the best five moments) in your ppt.
The whole presentation should be not more than six slides.
● You can add music to your presentation to make it more attractive.
● The poster should be made on an A4 size sheet.
● Your best moments may include your kitchen moment, garden moment, movie
moment etc.
● You may do the work on paper/ word. Get your PPTs in a pen drive/ share it on
Google classroom.
