a. The objectives of the Project:

Surgeon at Nishter Hospital, Multan has advised for baseline tests, upper and lower GI
endoscopy, barium tests, blood transfusions and esophageal reconstruction surgery for
strictures.

b. Brief about the Project:

A 16-year-old female Muqadas, no known co-morbid came to ER with ingestion of corrosive liquid
with suicide ideation on 24th Feb, 2017.

Patient had Hematemesis, Hemoptysis along with dysphagia, she was unable to feed conventionally
and had nasal regurgitation of fluid for she underwent feeding Jejunostomy on 01 Jan 2018

On 19th May, 2018 exploratory Laparotomy was done with gastroduodenostomy.

On 25th Feb, 2018 exploratory laparotomy was done again. Multiple adhesions were found
intraoperatively, adhesiolysis was done.

On 7th Mar, 2019, dense adhesions were formed again beneath the gut loops for which laparotomy
was done again with a redo gastrojejunostomy and feeding jejunostomy with adhesiolysis.
