 Crimes in my community.

In recent months, the situation in Mexico has been completely worrying, there have been black
bags with human body remains, many assaults by armed force, many kidnappings, and mainly
underage girls. For this and much more, I am going to tell you important information that you
should know about the situation that we are going through.

First, think about the most recent case that you have heard of this topic in Mexico.

Surely, most of us have thought about Ayotzinapa. It is truly very sad and I am very
disappointed with this type of situation. We know that this country does not deserve that kind of
people who do evil. Mexico is a rich and outstanding country, culturally speaking, and I am sure
that if those people were not in this country, Mexico would be one of the strongest countries
speaking generally.

Just yesterday, I was reading the newspaper, as usual. And the truth that I was surprised to see
all the news, 8 out of 10 were about murders, violence, street fights, insecurity. The new that I
remember right now and that struck me the most was "Black bag found in a house of Salagua".
Honestly, it makes me sad to see this kind of situation, because imagine the proximity of the
events. I live in Almendros III and that black bag was a few kilometres from where I live.

The police department of Mexico affirms that the last two years, the violence has increased by
256%, and also says that every day there are 5 murders, which is a very high index. Most of the
murder cases are of people who are involved in drug trafficking, in the cartels, and things like
that.

I am going to tell you about an experience that happened to me when I was in second year of
high school. My family and I were in the car, we were just going back from school to our house.
We were passing the oxxo that is in front of Plaza Loto, someone locates it? Then, a guy
running away from someone with a machine gun passed right in front of the car. Honestly, that
is one of the experiences that has caused me the most fear and that has had a great impact on
my life. Honestly, I had never been so close to such an act.

Now, I will comment about some of the ways you could do if you were in a similar or high risk
situation. The first thing you could do is remain calm, then assimilate things and understand
perfectly what is happening so that later you can act intelligently. Remember that life comes
first, material things does not matter. A German scientist graduated from MIT University, said
that life is worth 97% that everything material on Earth, that is 100% compared to that minimum
thing that will remove the thief or criminal.

Finally, I would like you to share this information with your loved ones, your friends,
acquaintances, family, people you do not know, because all Mexicans must be informed about
the situation we are going through. Finally, I would like to ask you, if you have any similar
experience like mine or more extreme, that you can share with us in the whole classroom.
