residue is difficult to remove?
Difficulty arises when the coating is left too long to dry.The residue becomes
tough and "baked on" to the glass!
Generally, rain repellents should be wiped off after drying for about 10 minutes.
Leaving them for too long can cause unevenness or even a tough residue.

One hour in direct sunlight leads to this!

The solution is surprisingly simple - just reapply.
The solvent in the rain repellent solution will dissolve and remove the residue.

When the liquid has hazed over, wipe off immediately.

 Beware of applying in high temperatures or direct sunlight, because it may dry
too quickly.

Tips
In extreme cases, use a glass compound.
In the case of fluoropolymer (Fusso) based rain repellent, such as Ultra
Glaco, just the solvent may not be enough to remove the residue. In this case,
use a glass compound to remove it.
