The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for inspecting ongoing signalling and telecom installations and material deliveries, submitting inspection requests, and preparing daily and weekly QA/QC reports. They must ensure all work follows approved methods and drawings and that calibrated equipment is used. The engineer will also assist with handing over documents and be responsible for telecom/electronics inspections involving materials, installations, testing and commissioning. 1. To conduct inspection of all ongoing activities for Signalling & Telecom
installations. 2. To conduct inspections for all Signalling & Telecom material deliveries. 3. To submit inspection requests in coordination with concerned site/project engineers. 4. Prepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, material, Non-conformances etc. 5. Prepare weekly surveillance reports, non-conformance reports and verification of corrective actions 6. Ensure that all works are carried out as per the approved method statements and drawings. 7. Ensure that all equipment used are calibrated and with valid certificates. 8. Assist / coordinate the preparation of the final handing over documents such as QCQA documents, testing and commissioning reports etc. 9. Responsible for all Telecom/electronics inspections related to materials, installations, testing, commissioning etc. for the involved project. 10. Must have knowledge on EPABX system. 11. Conversant with Point machines, MSDAC systems. 12. Proficient in OFC blowing, Splicing techniques and OTDR testing. 13. Hands on experience on different networking equipment like Ethernet switches, RS 232 to IP converters. 14. Experienced in Battery charger system and Battery banks. 15. Must have knowledge on Electronic earthing, signalling and communication cable earthing.
Experience, Education and Skills:
1. Working professional in Quality and Execution with experience 5~10 Years.
Railway S & T / infra/ oil n gas experience desirable. 2. Previous experience of Inspections & supervision of multi discipline Project support teams 3. Should be a bachelor’s degree holder in Electronics and Communication/Electrical and Electronics from a Recognized University. 4. Excellent reporting and communication skills. 5. Profound knowledge in MS Office.
