Pursuant to Presidential Proclamagon No. 929, Series of 2020, which declared a State
calamity thra.rghout the Philippines due to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COMD-l9),
the

omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of community Quaratine in the Philippines
and the
dated 29 April 2020, and in view of the current covlD-19 public health situation
extended implementation of the Enhanced community Quarantine (ECQ) and General
community Quarantrne (GCQ) in specjfied areas, please be informed that the construction
Safety Guidelines supplemental to the existing safety standards, herein attached
as Annex

infrastructure projects for the duration of this public health crisis'

1. In the areas covered by Enhanced community Quaratine (ECQ). The following

construction
projects are allowed:

euarantine facilities and isolation facilities (for Persons under Invesitagtion,

c. Facilities for construction personnel who perform emergency works, flood control
other disaster risk reduction and rehablitation works

The Head of the Implementing ffice strall issue accreditations to the contractors undertaking
the aforementioned Projects.

2. In the areas covered by General community Quarantine (GcQ). The following essential
public and private construction projects are allowed, such as but not limited to:

a. sewerage proieds
b. water services facilities proiects
c. digital works
d. health facilities
e. priority projects

limited to food production, agriculture, shelter necessary to address housing backlog,
energy, and communication'

PENALTIES
