ANSI/SAE J/ISO 13200-JUN98, Cranes -

Safety Signs and Hazard Pictorials -
General Principles

ANSI/SAE J1238-JUL98, Rating Lift Cranes

on Fixed Platforms Operating in the
Ocean Environment
The scope of this SAE Recommended Practice
is limited to cranes mounted on a fixed platform
lifting loads from a vessel alongside. The size
of the vessel is assumed not to exceed that of
a work boat as defined in 3.14. The purpose of
this document is to establish the design
dynamic loads, the calculation procedures, and
a load rating chart format for lift cranes
operating in a variety of sea conditions.

ANSI/SAE J220-JUL98, Crane Boomstop

ANSI/SAE J820-JUL98, Crane Hoist Line

Speed and Power Test Code
This code applies primarily to mobile cranes
that lift loads by means of a drum and hoist line
mechanism. It can be used to determine the
hoist line speed and power of other hoist line
mechanisms, if load can be held constant and
hoist line travel distance is sufficient for the
accuracy of the line speed measurements
prescribed.

ANSI/SAE J999-JUL98, Crane Boom Hoist

Disengaging Device
This SAE Standard applies to cranes which are
equipped to adjust the boom angle by hoisting
and lowering means through rope reeving.
